Low Fidelity Movie Theater App



To build a strong UX foundation, I completed the initial 3 courses of the Grow with Google UX Design certificate in August 2022, just before beginning my Master’s at the Royal College of Art. This preparation helped me approach my coursework with a solid grounding in UX principles.

    • Work more hours and getting less free time
    • Have other limitations, interests, challenges, and/or obligations





Problem Statement:

Ben is a busy, working father who needs quick, easy access to a movie theater’s family-friendly movies and seat reservation options because he has a young son that he wants to spend quality time with.



User Group:

  1. Non-native English speakers who want to browse trailers
    • New immigrants within the country
    • Feel uncomfortable talking with others in English to complete their desired task





Problem Statement:

Josefina is a busy college student and recent immigrant who needs a cheap, easy way to choose a movie at the movie theater with translation options and subtitles because she has a language and financial barrier.
