E-Clo (2023)
What role do digital technologies play in reducing the environmental concerns of fast fashion?
E-CLO is an Augmented Reality prototype, which aims to challenge consumer behaviour towards fast fashion. When fully realised, E-CLO encourages consumers to make more informed decisions while shopping and consider more sustainable approaches by understanding the energy & water consumption, as well as the back-end processes to create these garments. In our project, a sustainable garment was created using banana peel biomaterial that was compared to a fast fashion garment within E-CLO.
This is a collaborative, team effort across multiple colleges within the Royal College of Art (Ani Ardehali, Shaye Thiel, & Yun-Liang Hsu).
